You will receive a 2 year certificaton card directly from an AHA instructor upon completion of your skills evaluation. ACLS skills evaluations generally cost between $50-$120, depending on your area and the instructor. Remember, you are paying for convenience.

Here's how the process works:
1. Signup and take the interactive course and receive an online completion certificate. Up to 14 hours CME/CE/CEH credit upon
successful completion of Part 1 cognitive portion.

2. Bring your certificate to an AHA skills center to complete a short hands-on skills evaluation. (Skills eval sold separatly)

3. Receive an official American Heart ACLS wallet card, directly from an American Heart Association ACLS instructor.

A current ACLS certification is NOT required. This course covers everything but the hands-on practical components, which is an extra cost (usually $50-$120, depending on the instructor). Once you complete the 12 mandatory checkpoints, you can access the final exam. Once you have achieved a passing score of 84% on the final exam (with 2 tries), simply print your certificate and schedule your skills evaluation with an American Heart® ACLS Instructor.
